Dr Sarah Zardawi is a Medical Oncologist and Palliative Care Physician. Working predominantly in Medical Oncology, she is committed to providing compassionate, patient-centered care for patients and their families at all stages of their cancer treatment. This includes excellent supportive management and a focus on symptom control.

Sarah undertook her medical training in Sydney before completing her specialty training in Newcastle, obtaining a Fellowship from the Royal Australian College of Physicians (Medical Oncology) in 2020 and becoming a Fellow of the Australian Chapter of Palliative Medicine in 2021.

Sarah has completed a clinical trials fellowship at Calvary Mater Newcastle, working particularly with patients with Genitourinary Cancers and Melanoma. She is currently undertaking a further fellowship with Breast Cancer Trials in addition to establishing her general private practice.
